The official description says you can team up with friends to clean faster, and that progress on your moon saves. Public listings for this experience put the server size at 20 players.
What is not copied from other moon-cleaning games
This experience is not the Steam game that uses a 16-player lobby, a shared Upgrade Matrix, and personal jetpacks. Those rules are a different product. Nothing on the Lunarlit Works page says cash is pooled, that a broom purchase is shared, or that buildings cannot be moved.
The Robot Bay text in the playthrough does say an extra robot is for the crew. That is one shared-crew line. It does not prove every upgrade is shared.
Practical coordination that does not invent a role system
- Sweep different ground so two people are not erasing the same spot.
- Each player still has a backpack counter and a tank warning. Those warnings are personal signals in the footage.
- The sell pad and SELL building are the documented way to turn a haul into cash.
- Agree out loud when someone is about to buy a bay upgrade, because the crew-robot wording may affect everyone and the cash source of that button is not fully explained.
There is no documented class, support role, or assigned lane. Split the surface only as table coordination.
